Hi Networks backer!
The base game reprint is all manufactured! It's my largest print run yet, and I couldn't have done it without your help.
The games will get loaded onto a boat from China this week. We're looking at them hitting my warehouse in mid-February. So that puts fulfillment of the base game in early March, assuming no customs or logistical delays.
Here's what this means for you:
If you did not fill out your survey yet, and you have the base game coming to you, time is running out! I will lock surveys for backers at the $75 level and up, as well as $2 retail backers who ordered the base game, around the beginning of February. (Of course, if you did not back at one of these levels, your survey will not be locked for another few months.)
If you did not back a level with the base game or order it as an add-on, and you're thinking of changing that, time's running out! You can change your pledge level in BackerKit. If you've already answered the survey, just return to BackerKit using your link, click on your reward level at the top of the page under "Your Pledge Level," and you'll see a link that will let you change your pledge level. You'll be able to do this until the end of the month. Once I lock the surveys in February, you won't be able to add the base game to your pledge. (Sorry, it would make logistics too difficult!)
We will have similar news for Executives (and On the Air, and stretch goals) soon! Chinese New Year is coming up, which means that, effectively, there is no manufacturing in China during the month of February. (Of course, that's not 100% true, but it's the approximation I go by to make things easier for me to estimate.) Thankfully, I've accounted for this in my schedule, so I'm not anticipating a late delivery for Executives. We're hoping to start manufacturing sometime in March.

Hi Networks: Executives backer!
I released PNPs yesterday; check your email for links. Don't forget that Networks Executives' PNP will change over the next few weeks as we finalize the rulebook and a few remaining cards.
Some of you expressed a preference for a download alternative, where you don't have to create a new login. So I've created an alternative place to pick up the files.
I don't have as much control over this login as I do with itch.io, so I'm only going to give it to people who request it via Kickstarter direct message; I can't guarantee a quick response to people who request via comments.
I can't guarantee that this other link will stay updated, or even available, for as long as the itch.io link will. So if you can use the link you got in your email, please do that! I ask that you only request the alternative link if you're dead-set against creating a new login.
To recap the important points:
- I have an alternative PNP download location for people who don't want to create another login.
- Send me a Kickstarter direct message (not a comment) if you want the link.
- I can't guarantee that the files in this location will be updated at the frequency of the itch.io files, although I'll try my best.
- I can't guarantee that this location will remain available for very long.
- Please download from itch.io if you can.

Hi Networks backer,
I've started sending out the PNPs for The Networks!
You should receive four emails from BackerKit at some point today. Each email will take you to a link to download one of the following PNP files:
- The Networks base game
- The Networks: On the Air expansion (stretch goals from the first campaign)
- The Networks: Executives expansion
- The Networks: More Executives expansion (stretch goals from this campaign)
You'll download the files from a different site, itch.io. It's the site where I host all my downloads.
iMPORTANT NOTE: The files for Executives and More Executives are not final yet! It's 100% playable, but Heiko and I are still finishing up graphic design, so there are a few things we'll be adding to the PNP in the next few weeks:
- I only just signed off on the rulebook in the past couple of weeks, so we're starting on graphic design for the rulebook next week (Heiko had a vacation planned for the time I originally wanted to start working on the rulebook, so we had to delay the start of rulebook layout!). In my blind tests so far, players have seemed to parse the rules perfectly well without the diagrams, so you should be fine if you want to play the PNP ASAP. But the diagrams should be in a nicely laid-out rulebook in the next couple of weeks.
- We will add text descriptions to the Executives Cards. In the meantime, consult the rulebook to see detailed instructions for each executive.
- The graphic design for the Executives cards isn't finalized yet; we need to add a few things, like player count flags that show which Executives are not used in a 1- or 2-player game. In the meantime, the "Executives" section in the rulebook will tell you if an Executive is not for play for a given player count.
- There are some incidental markers that we're finalizing design on next week, like the 100/200-Viewer Markers for the new Networks, as well as a special marker for the "Flix" Executive that reminds them that they don't have an 8 pm timeslot. These markers are not necessary to play the game.
- Graphic design for the Anomaly Cards isn't final yet; I mocked up what I think Heiko was planning.
So there are still a few small items we need to tie up, but graphic design for most of the cards (like Shows and Mogul Cards) is complete, so we should be able to wrap graphic design up in January. I will update the PNP files once we have complete graphics, and let everyone know in a backer update.

Hi Executives backer!
First, regarding the base game: I've approved the MPC (first production copy), so those will ship out of the factory soon. I'm hoping to receive them in my warehouse in late January. If that schedule holds, we can ship the base game much earlier than expected. Hooray!
Regarding Executives, Heiko and I are continuing to make progress on graphic design. We're about to take on the rulebook over the next couple of weeks. The PNP should be ready by the end of the month.
